Heel Wrapz FAQs

Heel Wrapz are Peel & Stick shoe protectors designed specifically for pole dancing shoes. They are self-healing and scratch-resistant, offering durable protection for boots and sandals between 5” and 8” tall. This technology, originally used for vehicle wraps, has been adapted for easy application on your shoes. We spent over 12 months perfecting this kit to ensure it’s functional and user-friendly.

Heel Wrapz are designed to stick to:

-Shiny patent/pvc (commonly found in smooth, shiny pole boots)
-PC resin (typically used in pole sandals with a smooth/plastic platform)

Please note that shoe manufacturers may use different materials, and some may choose cheaper options, which can affect adhesion. Some materials, even if labeled as PVC or patent, may not work well with the adhesive. This depends on the shoe brand manufacturing, it is rare, but it can affect application.

Heel Wrapz come in sets of 2 sheets per design, including:

-5-6" Platform Wrap
-7-8" Platform Wrap (+ tool)
-Boots Set (one size fits all)

Since the application depends on the user, we recommend watching the Application video and taking your time. Minimize contact with the adhesive side of each patch, as it may take a little practice to get it right.

To help you, we’ve included extra wrap material on each sheet, so you can redo sections or use it on other pole shoes, reducing waste.

We designed Heel Wrapz with a simple "Peel & Stick" application. To ensure the best adhesion, minimize contact with the adhesive side to avoid fingerprints and oils.

Tips for Platform Application:
-Shoe Mapping: Find the middle of the wrap and the middle of the platform (it can help to fold the sheet in half).
-Start in the middle: Apply the middle first, then smooth out one side of the platform with your Application Tool. Then repeat on the other side.

Tips for Boots Set Application:
-Shoe Mapping: Refer to our shoe map to match the patches with your shoe.
-Start from the Back: Begin applying from the back and move forward to find your groove.
-Handle Carefully: Treat the patches like sticky tape for better adhesion.
-Toe Section: This area can be tricky. Apply one thumb at a time, avoiding too much contact with the adhesive. Don’t overstretch this piece.

Fitting Tips:

-Overlap: Allow some overlap on the sides and platform to secure edges, especially for the toe piece, which gets the most wear. Overlapping will prevent any edges being able to lift whilst sliding against the floor when dancing.
-Trim Excess: Use small scissors to cut off any extra material for a smooth fit. Remember, the toe will never be perfectly smooth due to the shape of the shoe.
-Even Grip: Maintain even pressure while applying to prevent overstretching. Your fingers/grip will create lines if you do not keep even grip.
